Dining Reservation Tips & Tricks

  • Advance dining reservations for table service locations throughout the Disney properties are highly encouraged.  These reservations can be made by logging into your Disneyland account (on a computer or using the mobile app).

  • You will be able to make dining reservations as early as 6am EST on the morning that is 60 days prior to the date you wish to dine.  Many hard-to-get reservations do book up quickly.

  • Not all restaurants open at the 60-day mark so you may need to keep checking back frequently.

  • The dining reservations have a 24-hour cancelation policy which means you will use your credit card to hold them and you will be charged a $10 per person fee for no show or not cancelling by the day before.

  • You may have luck getting hard-to-get reservations if you are willing to eat at odd times, such as a very early or late lunch/dinner.

  • Know where the restaurant is located and be sure you are in the appropriate park or can easily get to the location.

  • Some restaurants are listed as Signature dining.  These will be more expensive, fine dining experiences but children are still welcome.

  • Be sure your reservation does not conflict with posted parade or firework times if you do not want to miss these activities.

  • If you are wondering what a dining or attraction experience is like, you can often find videos on YouTube that will give you an idea of this experience.

  • You do not need reservations for quick service dining locations. You can do mobile ordering in advance through the Disneyland app for many of these locations.

  • Cancellations often happen as you get close to your travel dates so we suggest continuing to check as the harder reservations may open up as you get closer.
